You can now register students for the 2022 National German Exam Levels 2, 3, and 4. The Exam is administered each year to 20,000 students of German. The Exam honors student performance with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards and prizes including the National German Exam Scholarship (AATG/PAD Study Trip Award).
The Level 2, 3, and 4 Exam administration period is December 1, 2021, through January 31, 2022.
Beginning with the 2019-20 academic year, AATG developed procedures for remote exam administration. Guidelines for 2022 remote testing are included in the Administration Manual.
The National German Exam uses authentic materials that are accessible, interesting, and engaging for high school students. Exam reports provide individual diagnostic feedback. The exam fee is $6.00 per student.
