This is to let you know about the Internationale Tagung der Deutschlehrerinnen und Deutschlehrer (IDT) 2022! Please spread the word and consider participating in the IDT, which takes place in Wien next year from August 15-20, 2022. The IDT normally takes place every four years, although the IDT that was scheduled for this year was postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic. This is the 17th time that the IDT takes place; it is the largest global forum for educators involved in teaching German and is expected to draw approximately 3000 colleagues from many different parts of the world.

Abstracts for the convention are due by September 15, 2021.

Altogether, there are 55 sections (including the four listed above), led by colleagues from all over the world, as well as poster presentations, and a science slam.
